Investing as a Retail Investor

Retail Investors are those investors who are not Professional or Eligible Counterparty investors. Retail investors are granted the highest level of protection under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines but are still responsible for fully understanding the risks involved with any investment they chose to take part in. There are two categories of Retail Investors that Floww currently allows to participate in fundraises (subject to completion of due diligence checks); High Net Worth Individuals, and Sophisticated Investors. This is because Floww arrange investments in securities categorised as non-readily realisable securities and are therefore deemed to be High Risk Investments.
