What checks do investors need to complete?

To view Fundraise Information investors are required to complete Categorisation. During Categorisation, investors categorise themselves and complete an Appropriateness Assessment. The Appropriateness Assessment helps us assess that you understand the investment type. Categorisation typically takes just a few minutes, but investors can take as long as they need to complete this.

In order to make a Firm Commitment on the platform, investors are required to complete KYC checks , allowing the firm to verify the identity of investors. It typically takes an investor a few minutes to submit their KYC information. The Floww Team will then review this information and accept eligible investors as quickly as possible. Our aspiration is for investors to be reviewed within 24 hours, but more complex cases can take longer.

Investors who are participating through an entity (Trust, Fund, Nominee or other company structure) will also be required to complete KYB checks. We will email these investors to request the specific information required depending on the structure they are investing through.
